ERIKA SOTERI WINS AWARD FOR HER RECORD
'THE AMERICAN DREAM'
Erika Soteri was nominated in 3 categories in the first ever Cyprus Music Video Festival by Cult Experiences, including 'Best Female Performer', 'Best Female Vocalist' & 'Best Lyrics' and was awarded 'Best Lyrics' for her record The American Dream.
The song was inspired by the misconception of being an "overnight success" and the glamour of show biz, by telling a tale of the darkness behind the curtain and the sacrifices one must make in order to become successful, whilst playing on the innocence of a child's dream to become a star.
ERIKA RELEASES REMIX TO 'CARAMEL CREAM'
Erika Soteri releases her first ever remix. 'Caramel Cream (Minor9 Remix)' is a dance-pop remix, with retro, disco elements and elements of pop-funk.
Although this is the first time Erika Soteri delivers a more mainstream song to her audience, it still remains true to the artist's signature sound; a timeless retro sound with a modern flair. The track illuminates the artist's eclectic sound, which is a fusion of Soul, Jazz, Funk and RnB.
